Coming to Study at TUKS/University of Pretoria in 2016

Well to begin I will like to congratulate you on being accepted at Tuks, for some people it is all they have ever wanted and for some well... they coming to Tuks because of they got accepted, they could basically be going anywhere in 2016... Welcome

When you come to Tuks there will be what we call orientation week, attend it especially if you don't know anyone,  it's a good opportunity to meet new people doing the same course as you, just come and listen to the presentations, they were prepared specially for you as a first year

You then get to register,  I will like to advice you and say please research in the modules/subjects you want to take next year, calculate the credits and understand what you getting yourself into, download the year books if you haven't already received one

Getting your student card is like getting you licence or smart ID card, well the experience is more fun and quick, not quicker, but you won't stand there annoyed and irritated... Dress well, hair and smile on point, you don't want to be over the top but look and feel good... Make sure you go in the morning when your fresh and positive

Draft your timetable in time even if it's in the same day you got your timetable book, pick out times good for you not your friend because you don't want to be blaming/hating anyone at that stage when they decide to change their times because of some other high school friend of theirs and you stand there looking all unloved, it's first year and first semester don't take anything personal

Triple check you time table, go look for the venues, you don't want to look all very lost on campus, though there are helpful assistants during the orientation week,  but they won't stand there for the whole semester, security personnel is all a good option

Finally behave and have fun... The best moments of your life have just began... Trust me I know 2015 has been amazing and at Tuks if you don't study you don't pass, simple! Ou yah and 7distinctions you got in high school are cute just don't take it personal when you don't do well on your first test,  it's Tuks after all (am not discouraging you but in a few months I have seen it all)

Its been a long while....

I have been so busy that I neglected my blog but with everything under control now I can be able to post whenever something new comes up...

So I have learned that besides being a blessing to go to school, that everything comes with hard work, if you don't study you don't pass simple.
On campus we have those that chill all day, I always wonder if they ever go to lectures or they are just merely chilling for the fun of it...

I can't afford to chill, really I can't, I literally don't have time to, because I do much travelling, to school ofcourse, and I can't say I won't get my degree because it is just part of the journey

If you want something go for it, just don't stand in the way of others and don't let anyone stand in your way, it is ok to make weird friends on your way and dance uncontrollably when everyone is watching, lol :) Tuks isn't that bad, it just want one to balance their schedule

December Season has flown by

Well that festive month is behind me, time to focus on Welcome Day 17 January 2015, hoping all goes as planned :).
